Rodan & Fields

Foundation Free since using Rodan & Fields Skincare!

Before starting Rodan and Fields, my skin concerns and things I would try to cover up were freckles, sun damage, fine lines and large pores.
I had to use a "pore filler" before applying liquid foundation. Not to mention concealer over the discoloration.
I love this company and the lives they are changing with these products.  I'm thrilled that I no longer have to layer makeup!
Saves me money and time!
I'm all about that!

Recipes

Homemade Granola Bars

Ingredients:

2 Cups Old Fashion Oats (uncooked)
1/2 Cup Nuts & dried Fruit (your choice)
I used Cranberries & Pepitas. (pumpkin seed)
1/3 Cup Cocoa nibs (optional)
2 tsp Cinnamon
1 pinch of salt
1/3 Cup Coconut oil
1/3 Cup Honey
1 TBSP Vanilla extract
3/4 Cup Almond butter

Directions:

In a bowl mix Oats, Fruit, nuts, cocoa nibs, cinnamon & salt. Set to the side.

In a pot combine Coconut oil, honey, vanilla & almond butter.

Turn heat on low and warm till its combined. Don't boil.
Once its all melted mix with dry ingredients.  Press into a greased pan.  I used a 8x8 baking pan. Freeze 2 hours then cut into bars.  I wrap each bar in foil paper and put back in the freezer until serving. It takes a few minutes at room temperature to thaw.  I wouldn't recommend leaving them out for a long time, just because they get soft and fall apart.

This is one of my favorite snacks!!  My kids love them too!! Enjoy!

Recipes

Quinoa Fiesta Salad

Directions:

Mix warm (cooked) Quinoa with Salsa.
Put over Lettuce.
Top with corn, black beans, tomato, avacado, & a little cilantro.

(I heated the corn and beans.)

For the dressing I used plain Greek yogurt & hidden valleys Fiesta ranch seasoning (just enough to taste or liking). Add a little milk of choice to make it thin like dressing would be.

SO GOOD!!
